Many of our customers have a need for a machine larger than the Z2043, so WARDJet created the R-Series waterjet system. This high precision helical rack and split pinion unit has been designed to meet the largest requirements while holding very tight tolerances. Either a 3.0m or 4.0m crossbeam is used for the X-axis, and the length of the Y-axis can be as long as necessary. Additional racks can always be added because the Y-axis is rack and pinion. The X-axis operates using a ball screw drive mechanism.
R-Series Waterjet Gantries
WARDJet systems are available in a variety of sizes to meet our customers varied needs. The R-Series comes in eight standard sizes, the R-1213 (4.0 x 3.5m), R-2013 (4.0 x 6.0m), R-3013 (4.0 x 9.0m) ,R-4013 (4.0 x 12.0m) , R-129 (3.0 x 3.5m), R-209 (3.0 x 6.0m), R-309 (3.0 x 9.0m) and R-409 (3.0 x 12.0m). Smaller sizes are available through our Z-Series.
Again any length is available if you need something longer then 12.0m or shorter than 6.0m. Widths of over 4.0m are also available.
