CML ALLOYS SPECIFIES WARDJET THROUGH WIGHTMAN STEWART (9451)

The global success and continued growth of CML Alloys, a leading international supplier and processor of nickel alloys, titanium and speciality materials, has resulted in investment in a new WARDJet ZX-2543 waterjet cutting system with 2 cutting heads, and 100 hp pump.  This will be supplied by Wightman Stewart, WARDJet’s exclusive UK agent.Based in Kingswinford, West Midlands CML Alloys provides products in all wrought forms for corrosion, heat resisting and other applications where the materials’ performance and properties are essential to the application.Services include the provision of fully machined parts to the most exacting customer specifications.  CML now has a production line for the machining of sheet and plate titanium in response to demand from customers from areas as diverse as the oil, gas and pharmaceutical industries.Rather than relying upon sub-contract waterjet cutting, CML Alloys decided to invest in their own waterjet facility.  “We looked at the market and Wightman Stewart recommended the highly competitive WARDJet 100 hp cutting table which meets our exact requirements,” says Richard Ward of CML Alloys.

CML Alloys is extending its business into the field of supplying finished machine products and for materials such as titanium and nickel alloys, the WARDJet will provide both the quality and tolerance of cut that is required.  It will also provide the capacity for further expansion of the company’s waterjet cutting facilities.

Installation is scheduled for November 2010 and once up and running, CML Alloys are looking forward to demonstrating the capability of the WARDJet to customers.
