Calypso WaterJet Cutting Systems is now the preferred provider for feature-packed, technically advanced waterjet cutting solutions. Calypso introduced the first Windows-based PC controller to the waterjet cutting market in 1992. Calypso introduced the use of "brick" table beds for more productive cutting, now copied by many others. We introduced the use of the automated Z Axis, also copied by many, as well as the use of a uniframe tank design for our smaller tables. Automated Tools, such as drill heads, were introduced by Calypso.

True automated dual head cutting was also pioneered by Calypso - just another example of technology capability and productivity tools created by Calypso for waterjet cutting. We initiated the first 24 x 7 Service Team in the waterjet industry in 1992, driving others to imitate us. Over the past fourteen years, Calypso has been on the leading edge of introducing new waterjet technology features, benefiting manufacturers, fabricators, sign and stone companies and others that use waterjet cutting in unique and inventive ways.
